Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi has called on opposition politicians to unite and finalise the National Super Alliance talks as time ticks towards election time.
Mudavadi who spoke on Friday told Cord co-principals Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula that time was running out and it was high time they met to finalise the alliance’s talks.
He said all politicians against the Jubilee administration should team up, work together and help ‘oust’ the regime he described as corrupt.
“We want to cooperate so as to remove Jubilee from power,” he said while on a tour of Faza island in Lamu East.
Mudavadi said the country is in a mess following numerous corruption scandals.
He added that President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto have no will to fight graft.
He said recent developments where former Devolution Cabinet Secretary Ann Waiguru and Ruto’s aide were mentioned in the NYS graft scandals shows the fight against the vise was far from over.
The National Super Alliance is expected to bring together opposition leaders from where either Raila, Kalonzo, Mudavadi or Wetangula will carry the alliance’s flag in 2017.
